Relab supports three activation methods through iLok:
1. **iLok Cloud** (Recommended for most users)

- Works on any internet-connected computer
- Licenses stored securely in the cloud
2. **Machine Activation**
- No hardware needed
- Faster plugin loading
- Best for dedicated studio computers
3. **iLok USB Dongle**
- Portable between any computers
- Works offline
- Ideal for freelance engineers moving between studios
### What You DO Need
- A free iLok account at [ilok.com](https://ilok.com)
- iLok License Manager installed on your computer
- Internet connection (for Cloud and initial Machine activation)
### Setting Up iLok
1. Create a free account at ilok.com
2. Download and install iLok License Manager
3. Sign in with your iLok credentials
4. Your Relab licenses will appear after purchase
