## Troubleshooting Plugin Crashes
Crashes can have several causes. Follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue.
### Step 1: Update Everything
1. **Update the plugin** to the latest version from your Relab account
2. **Update your DAW** to the latest version
3. **Update iLok License Manager** from ilok.com
4. **Update your operating system** if updates are available
### Step 2: Check System Requirements
Ensure your system meets minimum requirements:
- **macOS:** 10.14 (Mojave) or later
- **Windows:** Windows 10 or later
- **RAM:** 8GB minimum (16GB recommended)
- **CPU:** Intel Core i5 or Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3)
### Step 3: Try Plugin Isolation
1. Create a new, empty project
2. Add only the Relab plugin
3. If it works, the issue may be a conflict with another plugin
### Step 4: Reset Preferences
1. Close your DAW
2. Navigate to the plugin preferences folder
3. Remove or rename the Relab preferences file
4. Reopen your DAW
### Step 5: Reinstall
1. Uninstall the plugin completely
2. Restart your computer
3. Download a fresh installer from your account
4. Install and reauthorize
