## Optimize Plugin Performance
If you're experiencing high CPU usage with Relab plugins, try these quick fixes:
### Use Machine Activation
iLok Cloud adds slight overhead. For busy sessions, activate to your machine instead.
### Increase Buffer Size
Larger buffer sizes reduce CPU load:
- Mixing: 1024 or 2048 samples
- Mastering: 2048 samples
### Freeze Tracks
Once you're happy with reverb settings, freeze or bounce tracks to free up CPU.
### Disable Oversampling
High oversampling modes use more CPU. Use standard mode for tracking, enable oversampling for final renders.
### Close Other Applications
Background apps can compete for CPU resources.
